Efficient odor scrubber for roasting ovens
Counter Current Scrubber with AISI 316L Housing
Odor scrubber for roasting ovens features a counter current scrubber consisting of a horizontal, rectangular housing made of AISI 316L. In counter current washing, the washing liquid and the gas to be purified move in the opposite direction, ensuring that the cleaning process remains particularly effective throughout the installation.
Three-Section Design for Intensive Cleaning System
The scrubber is constructed of three technically identical sections, each with hollow cone spray nozzles, part of which are co-current and counter current. Each section is equipped with several spray arms that are mounted one after the other to obtain a long spray path. The nozzles are mounted with an overlapping spray pattern, creating a very intensive cleaning system. This ensures that the contaminated gas cannot pass through the spray sections without being moistened and cleaned, eliminating the need for random packings and maintaining a low pressure loss.
Alkaline Washing Section for Fat Fume and Particle Removal
The alkaline washing section uses a caustic soda solution for washing out fat fumes and fat-bound dust particles. The chemicals are dosed in the integrated buffer of the scrubber, where the pH value of the washing water is also measured to automatically dose the correct amount of caustic soda.
Oxidative Washing Section for Odor Neutralization
The oxidative washing section employs a sodium hypochlorite solution to oxidize odor-forming elements, preventing odor nuisance. The sodium hypochlorite dosage is controlled by a free chlorine sensor. The chemicals are dosed in the integrated buffer of the scrubber, where the free chlorine of the washing water is also measured to automatically dose the correct amount of sodium hypochlorite.
Final Washing Section with Clean Washing Water
The final washing section uses clean washing water to capture water-soluble gas particles and any fumes from the sodium hypochlorite washing section, ensuring a thorough cleaning process.
