Odor scrubber for the slaughterhouses
Efficient Design and Durable Materials
The horizontal cross-flow scrubber consists of a horizontal, rectangular housing made of stainless steel 316L. It features three technically identical sections, each with structured PVC packing, and uses three centrifugal pumps, a water treatment system, and a Siemens S7-1500 PLC with Ethernet connection for control.
First Oxidative Wash Section (NaOCl, corrected with H2SO4)
This section uses a sodium hypochlorite solution with sulfuric acid correction to oxidize odor-forming elements. Chemicals are dosed in the integrated buffer tank, with automatic dosing based on pH and free chlorine measurements.
Second Oxidative Wash Section (NaOCl, corrected with H2SO4)
A second sodium hypochlorite solution with sulfuric acid correction targets remaining odor-forming elements. Dosage is determined by a free chlorine sensor and pH correction, ensuring proper chemical balance in the integrated buffer tank.

Third Wash Section (NaOH)
This basic washing section uses a caustic soda solution to neutralize acid-forming components and remove any residual free chlorine. Automatic dosing is based on pH measurements in the integrated buffer tank.
